As many may already know, the KAS and Kopernik Observatory will be hosting two events on Wednesday April 20th to act as fund raisers for the observatory. The first is a Doug’s Fish Fry Event on the corner of Hooper Road and Country Club Road in Endwell, NY. The Second event will be held at Tully’s Good Times in Vestal, NY. It just so happens that 4/20 is also the 3rd Wednesday of the month which is when we will be holding the Monthly KAS Presentation and Observing night. This month we will be holding the meeting at Tully’s Good Times starting at 4 PM. We will enjoy some good food and company, and one KAS member will bring in a meteorite collection to share and talk about at the establishment. The meteorites will be displayed until 6:30 PM.
If clear that night, there is a good possibility members of the KAS will venture to the observatory to observe the night skies…
