Announcement – Planning activities for the 2011 KAS Astro-Fest have been started. The event will span 3 days (9/30 – 10/2), and will include observing, lectures, activities, etc. Details will be posted as plans progress.
From the KAS VP of the Treasury, Art C.:
“We have been planning AstroFest 2011 for a few months now. There are some great activities planned, including top-notch speakers and workshops. Things are beginning to jell and are being locked in. For now, let me give you the dates so you can reserve them on your calendar. The three day event begins on September 30th and ends on October 2nd at Kopernik Observatory. We will send out additional details as the event planning progresses.”
